The following information provides a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit this website. Personal data is any data by which you can be personally identified.
Data collection on this website
Data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator. You can find the operator’s contact details in the section “Controller” of this privacy policy.
Your data is collected partly by you providing it to us (for example via email). Other data is collected automatically by our IT systems when you visit the website. This is primarily technical data such as the browser used, the operating system or the time the page was accessed.
Your rights
You have the right at any time to obtain, free of charge, information about the origin, recipients and purpose of the personal data we have stored about you. You also have the right to request the correction or deletion of this data. If you have given consent to the processing of data, you can revoke this consent at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right, under certain circumstances, to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data and the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
2. Hosting
We host the content of our website with the following provider:
IONOS
The provider is IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany (hereinafter IONOS). When you visit our website, IONOS records various log files including your IP address. Details can be found in the privacy policy of IONOS.
The use of IONOS is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in our website being displayed as reliably as possible. Where consent has been requested, processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TTDSG, in so far as the consent covers the storage of cookies or access to information on the user’s device. Consent may be revoked at any time.

Storage period
Unless a more specific storage period is stated within this privacy policy, your personal data will remain with us until the purpose for which it is processed no longer applies. If you submit a legitimate request for deletion or revoke your consent to data processing, your data will be deleted, unless we have other legally permissible grounds for storing your personal data (for example retention periods under tax or commercial law); in the latter case, deletion takes place once these grounds no longer apply.
Legal bases
Your data is processed on the following legal bases:
- Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent): You have given your consent to the processing.
- Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract): The processing is necessary for the performance of a contract or for pre-contractual measures.
- Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (legal obligation): The processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation.
- Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest): The processing is necessary to safeguard legitimate interests.
Where special categories of personal data within the meaning of Art. 9(1) GDPR are processed, this takes place only within the scope of the exceptions provided for by law.
Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR)
Where your personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR. If you object, we will no longer process your personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests.
SSL / TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the browser’s address bar changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock icon in the browser bar.
4. Data collection on this website
Cookies
This website does not use cookies. No technically necessary cookies and no analytics, tracking or marketing cookies are used. Nor is there any comparable storage of information on your device (no local storage or session storage containing personal data).
For this reason, no cookie consent within the meaning of § 25(1) TTDSG is required, and no cookie consent banner is displayed.
Contact form / getting in touch
For enquiries submitted via the contact form on this website, we use the service Formspree (Formspree, Inc., 2100 Geng Rd, Suite 210, Palo Alto, CA 94303, USA) as an external processor. Formspree receives the form data and forwards it to our mailbox hosted at IONOS by email. The data you provide (e.g. name, email address, phone number, message) together with technical metadata (e.g. IP address, timestamp) is transmitted to and processed on Formspree servers in the USA. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry is related to the performance of a contract or necessary for pre-contractual measures, and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in effectively handling your enquiry).
Third-country transfer to the USA: Since Formspree operates servers in the United States, personal data is transferred to a third country. The required safeguards are ensured by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) adopted by the European Commission pursuant to Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR. Further information on Formspree’s data protection measures and sub-processors can be found at: formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy. You may alternatively contact us directly at any time by email or phone.
Storage: Your form data is stored both in the Formspree submission archive (limited period in line with the Formspree configuration) and in our email mailbox at IONOS, until the purpose for the data storage no longer applies (handling and completion of your enquiry and any resulting contractual relationship). You can request deletion or revoke your consent at any time. Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular tax and commercial law retention periods – remain unaffected.
5. Services and components used
Web fonts (self-hosted)
For the uniform display of fonts, this site uses web fonts (Open Sans, SUIT, Bootstrap Icons, and an in-house icon font), all of which are hosted exclusively on our own server. No connection is therefore made to external font servers (for example Google Fonts), and no personal data is transferred to third parties. The inclusion of these fonts is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Tracking, analytics, third parties
This website uses no analytics, tracking or marketing tools (no Google Analytics, no Matomo, no social media pixels, no external embeds). External links to social media profiles (Facebook, LinkedIn, Xing) are purely static links.
