PODBIM (podbim e.U.) is an independent consultancy at the intersection of project management, organisation development and Building Information Modeling. Owner: Ing. Andreas Huemer MSc, MBA. Located at Gartenstraße 7, 5274 Burgkirchen, Upper Austria. Focus: technical-commercial projects across the DACH region for plant engineering, machine building, production expansion, production relocation and industrial transformation.

Career stations

  1. 2002–2007 — Apprenticeship as technical draftsman (mechanical, electrical, building services).
  2. 2007–2017 — Designer, project engineer and branch manager at engineering office (mechanical engineering).
  3. 2018–2021 — Head of Project Management Intralogistics (distribution centres and airports).
  4. 2021–2022 — Operations manager — tank technology, metal construction, contract manufacturing.
  5. 2022 — Founded PODBIM (project management, organisation development, BIM).

Professional anchoring

Member of the WKO professional association UBIT Upper Austria (management consulting, accounting, IT). Operating area: DACH (Austria, Germany, Switzerland). Both owner-side and contractor-side in plant engineering, machine building, production expansion and production relocation.

Operational scope is clearly bounded: PODBIM works in Tier-A industrial sectors. Activities in regulatory-sensitive fields (e.g. pharma-GxP, semiconductor cleanroom, battery gigafactory, data-center KRITIS) are deliberately not undertaken — focus rather than overreach.

How we work

Solo consultancy with founder-managed delivery. No pyramid model, no junior-team hand-off. Ing. Andreas Huemer is the person who analyses, designs, steers and hands over.
